These are great tips and reminders! The one that resonated with me the most is walking outside without your phone. I fall into the trap of multitasking and listening to podcasts, etc while walking so I can learn while walking. But the thought of walking without my phone sounds so refreshing! Ina also going to share this with the women who I coach! Thanks you!

Great reminders for us all. Even if we reduce our exposure and time on cell phones 25%, it will help us feel better inside and out! Think what a 50% reduction could do!

How far away do you recommend to keep the phone from the body for night sleeping? Do you think 3 feet, or do you think it should be further away?

If charging, I would put it in another room.

If not, then 3 feet should be okay.

Luke, that was a great article! Thank you. I have already been familiar with some hacks like making the app icons grey. But I would like to bring it even further and make your phone as boring as possible. As your phone should not be something you look forward to use.

Brilliant hack of removing the phone before bed and instead of doom scrolling do “nothing”. It is amazing if instead of using your phone you read or clean or take a walk but it is very important to remember that your brain is not supposed to be entertained 24/7. It needs time to process all the information that was already consumed (which is a lot). So it is very important to do “nothing”. Just sit in silence with your thoughts and let you and your brain relax and enjoy.

When I noticed my attention span was getting short, I forced myself to read books.
